Agreement
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participation in the Knit Co-design Project, organized
by LSU TAM. By submitting your design, each participant agrees to adhere to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility and Entry Requirements
Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
All entries must be original, and participants must be the sole creators or authorized to submit the work.
Participants must be students of U.S. universities.
2. Design Submission
A participant can submit up to three designs.
Designs are accepted from November 22nd 8 am through December 1st 5 pm CST, 2024.
3. Judging Criteria
Designs will be evaluated based on originality, aesthetic appeal, and technical skill.
A panel of judges selected by LSU TAM will review all entries.
Winners will be notified through email privded in December, 2024, and all decisions are final.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All designs remain the intellectual property of the participants.
Participants indemnify the organizer against all liabilities related to intellectual property
infringement, misrepresentation, or any breach of this agreement.
By submitting a design, participants grant LSU TAM a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display,
reproduce, and promote the work for competition-related purposes, including exhibitions, publications, and
digital media.
Winners agree to assign exclusive rights to LSU TAM for the winning designs, including potential
production, commercial use, or merchandising.
Participants retain the right to use and promote their work after the competition, subject to any
exclusive rights granted to LSU TAM.
5. Confidentiality
Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their submissions before the
competition announcement.
6. Disqualification
Any participant found violating the competition rules or submitting plagiarized designs will be
disqualified.
Disqualified participants forfeit any prizes or recognition.
